Kolowisi, the Water Serpent of Zuni Pueblo is honored for saving the Zuni people from thirst and starvation. This whimsical interpretation of the great serpent is carved in Green Snail shell with beautiful overlays of onyx, coral, turquoise and abalone by Zuni artist Bryson Bobelu. This piece stands 3 1/2 inches high by about 2 inches wide.
