Navajo Flybird Necklace

| This item is from the estate of Ute Steggman, a dear friend and long time customer from Germany. Ute would travel to the southwest every summer to visit the area and gain inspiration for her jewelry designs. She was particularly fond of the Zuni and Navajo reservations and would purchase her jewelry directly from the artist. We have been commissioned to sell her collection.
This necklace is Navajo made and is stamped by the artist "Tsosie". The set consists of 11 flybird pieces and a set of earrings. Each flybird has what appears to be "A" grade Mediterranean coral and inlaid turquoise. The necklace measures 26 inches in length and the set sells for $600. |
